  • What does the National Park Bike Marathon mean to you personally?

The National Park Bike Marathon stands for great organisation and the commitment of many dedicated helpers. For me, it's a pleasure to be part of this event every year because it's such a pleasant collaboration. At the same time, the marathon also marks the end of summer for me - a funny little reminder that it will soon be time to unpack the winter clothes.

  • What motivates you to give it your all every year?

The motivation definitely comes from the many dedicated helpers and the countless passionate participants. It's incredible to see how much heart and soul goes into this event and how enthusiastically everyone gets involved.

  • What drives you to be part of this great event/team?

When I took over as S-chanf's tourism manager in 2023, I was immediately hooked on the bike marathon. It's one of the few occasions when we see so much life and movement in the village centre. S-chanf really comes alive for a few hours!

  • What do you do when you're not organising the bike marathon?

In my free time, I'm out and about doing sports. In summer you can often find me playing tennis or football and in winter I'm a passionate snowboarder, preferably in deep snow.
