- What does the National Park Bike Marathon mean to you personally?
The National Park Bike Marathon is the highlight of the year for me. I grew up with this event and have witnessed many stories at this event. The bike marathon is definitely also responsible for my enthusiasm for the event sector and therefore also for my professional career. I have already been able to take on a wide variety of tasks and positions at the Bike Marathon and from this year I will be able to lead the wonderfully well-coordinated OC as OC President, which is a great honour for me. I'm looking forward to continuing the event and making it an unforgettable day for the region and, above all, the participants.
- What motivates you to give it your all every year?
The happy faces of the participants at the finish in Scuol. Standing in the finish area and village on Saturday, seeing the happy faces of the participants, volunteers and spectators is indescribable and absolute motivation to give it your all every year.
- What drives you to be part of this great event/team?
At no other event do I feel the connection with the local population and the participants as much as at the bike marathon. It's a pleasure to organise such an event with a highly motivated organising committee and almost 400 volunteers.
- What do you do when you're not organising the National Park Bike Marathon?
Organising events is my job; I work for the Engadin Scuol Zernez holiday region as an event manager and am therefore responsible for a wide variety of events in the Lower Engadin. In my free time, I like to be out in nature and enjoy our wonderful landscape.
