  • What does the National Park Bike Marathon mean to you personally?

For me, the National Park Bike Marathon means pure emotion. When I started my apprenticeship in tourism in Scuol in 2021, I had the opportunity to get to know the National Park Bike Marathon straight away. Since then, I've been involved in this event every year, and it's been an incredible pleasure every time.

The year is now 2024 and I have successfully completed my apprenticeship as a business administrator. After my apprenticeship, I was able to get straight into the event sector of tourism and was heavily involved in the 2024 National Park Bike Marathon. I took over communications and assisted Chantal and really enjoy working in this area.

I'm already looking forward to the 2025 National Park Bike Marathon and I'm excited to see what it will be like to be part of it from the very beginning.

  • What motivates you to give it your all every year?

Seeing everything come together - from the initial idea to the successful conclusion of the event is a reward that can't be compared to anything else. This unique blend of effort, teamwork and sense of achievement is what makes the National Park Bike Marathon so special to me, and I'm already looking forward to everything the coming year will bring.

  • What drives you to be part of this great event/team?

What drives me to be part of this great event and team is above all the passion for what we achieve together. The National Park Bike Marathon connects people, regions and nature in a unique way, and it is incredibly motivating for me to see how much positive energy it generates. In my role in communications, I have the opportunity not only to convey the message of the event to the outside world, but also to share the joy and enthusiasm of the participants, volunteers and organisers. It is this feeling of community and cohesion that inspires me every year. Experiencing how the work of so many people comes together and then seeing the beaming faces of the participants gives me the certainty that we are creating something special. This mixture of challenge and success drives me to always give my best and be full of energy.

  • What do you do when you're not organising the National Park Bike Marathon?

When I'm not working and organising events with Chantal, you can often find me in the gym or on the train. I travel a lot, as in October 2024 I will be starting my training as a qualified event manager specialising in sponsorship, which I will complete in Lucerne. I therefore spend a lot of time travelling, either in Lucerne, in the beautiful Engadine or on the way in between.
In winter, you can often find me on the piste - either in the fun park with my freestyle skis or in deep snow with my snowboard. My home is Ardez, where my four siblings and my parents also live. I often enjoy having a coffee with my mum in the garden or in our cosy kitchen.
In my free time, I like to read, draw or play the piano. And one thing I can't do without is music. It is and remains my most loyal companion, no matter where I am or what I'm doing.
